Our mission is to break the stigma surrounding men’s mental health by promoting early intervention, positive conversations, and real community connection.

Through weekly sessions, advocacy, outreach projects, and community engagement, Heads Up Gentlemen empowers men to rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience, and find purpose. We work tirelessly to create an environment where no man feels alone, offering a supportive network that encourages personal growth, healing, and long-term well-being. Together, we’re building stronger men, stronger families, and a stronger community.

Charitable objects

The object of The CIO is: For the public benefit, the relief of men living in the Salford and the surrounding area in need who may be experiencing or at risk of experiencing poor menta health, in particular, but not exclusively by: increasing awareness of, and reducing the stigma attached to men’s mental health, providing support, information and advice, providing opportunities for men to share their experiences and access peer support online and in person through meetings and activities, signposting to and providing financial assistance to access specialist support and counselling from other providers.
